Immervoulin Caravan and Camping Park

Immervoulin Caravan & Camping Park is a lovely family caravan holiday park on the banks of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

The park is only a short drive from Glasgow and about 9 miles north of Callander situated on the A84 main road. It is also near the lovely village of Stathyre.

The park is only open from March to October and has 73 pitches available for your touring caravan or motor homes. All the pitches are hardstanding, and all have an electric hookup next to the pitches. If you don't have a caravan etc., you can drive to Immervoulin and set up your tent where there is enough room for in total 60 tents at this site.

Within the grounds of this caravan and camping site there is a shop well you can buy your everyday items. There is also an amenities block with all the latest equipment installed including showers, toilets, dish wash and area to prepare food and a laundry room with two washers and dryers. To use there showers there is a small charge of 20p.

There is so much you can do around Immervoulin and the surrounding areas. Golf courses and fishing are in plenty supply around this campsite, which will allow you to relax. Fishing areas are the River Balvaig which runs through this caravan park. A a permit is required to fish here and the famous Lochearnhead where salmon can be caught at the right time of year. There are plenty of other rivers running through the Perthshire hills, and it takes your pick once you have the correct permit.

There are lots of golf clubs very near the caravan site, and they are Callander and St. Fillian Golf Courses. But the most famous of the course nearby is the excellent Gleneagles. You have to remember if you are visiting this area that this is the heartlands area of Scotland in terms of golf courses and with over 150 courses within a 60 miles radius you will find a course perfect for you.

There are water sports activities that you can also take part in Lochearnhead and best to look up there website to see the full range on offer. There is a canoeing centre within Stathyre where you can hire these Canoes, and if you are a beginner, you can also receive lessons which are great fun for everyone in your family that wants to take part.

Since we are in the middle of the Perthshire countryside and you are into your walking there is an excellent choice of hills to choose in you enjoy your walking, but for the more experienced climber you have the 25 Munros within a 25-mile radius from the campsite.
