Balquhidder Braes Holiday Park

Balquhidder Braes Holiday Park is a small friendly caravan park situated in the Perthshire area of Scotland, the Gateway to the Highlands. The park is set in the fantastic countryside with views over the surrounding areas. This area of Perthshire is referred to as "Rob Roy country".

At this park, they have self-catering log cabins and static caravans for hire. They also have pitches if you have your caravan and would like to stay at this campsite for a few days. On the site, there is a kids play area and a shop where you can buy all the necessary food required. You will find these caravans very spacious, and they feature one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. There is also a very open plan living area, and this area has to fold down beds creating more sleeping areas if they are required. The kitchen area, as you would expect, is very modern with a full-size gas cooker. The caravan, of course, is centrally heated and every window is double glazed. There are some extra features you would expect in 'today's' caravan, and two of these are TV and DVD player. Other features on the site are Internet access, heated toilet with the usual free shower, access to the phone network and a laundry room with washer and drier.

There are also two areas on this campsite where you can put up your tents. They are 600 metres away from the toilet block, and you can also light your fires, but these must in certain areas of the site.

From Balquihidder Braes Holiday Park you are only 80 minutes from the major cities in Scotland (Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth) and with Callander and Killin on your doorstep, there is plenty of areas that you can get to quickly. Locally there are all the major water sports available and of course walking, fishing, golfing and just touring the local area.
